This is Chiemsee, one of the biggest lakes in the Munich area. I visited one afternoon at the end of February, on one of the rare days with nice weather. Unfortunately it was too crowded to also make a video, but the photos didn’t disappoint. This one is the first I took that afternoon. It was so beautiful though that I stayed until almost complete darkness taking photos.
I am wondering if I should erase the branch in the middle of the frame. What do you think?

You could give it a try, but it does not bother me that much.
I ‘ll leave it as is after all. Thanks for visiting Greta!
The branch helps provide texture. It is an object which would naturally appear here. My opinion would be to leave it.
Thank you Jill!
The branch is real; the sunset is ideal; the lake is flat and still. A perfect feel.
Thank you Haoyando!
Excellent poem.
