Tree tops

Autumn, Yellow leaves, Red leaves, Notis Stamos
Taken in a small patch of trees north of Munich.

Not all autumns are the same in terms of colors. I took this photo some years ago, on a sunny day, right in the middle of a particularly colorfull autumn.Other than some light and shadow balancing, I didn’t have to do much during post processing either.

  1. You are so lucky to be able to photograph such magical places. Just curious–Have you ever encountered magical beings (elves, fairies, etc.) in these places?

    1. Beauty is everywhere, all we have to do is look and filter out the noise. These are just ordinary places, in most cases, within one hour of the city. And, no, unfortunately no elves or fairies found yet 😯.

  2. Dude! I love trees! Although I haven’t posted any yet. My hope one day is to buy a property in the country with a small house and a huge tree – then build a wonderful tree-house!

    1. Sounds like a wonderful dream. Good luck with it! We are starting a small (1000 trees) plantation on a piece of land we have this year. It’s going to take some time but I am sure my grandchildren will have a lot of tree space for a tree-house.

      1. Thanks Notis -didn’t mean to pry into your personal life. My parents were from Germany – I have relatives near Celle, Northern Germany. I’m curious about the plantation.
