A year ago I visited Eibsee for the first time. The lake was highly praised by some friends and I was looking forward to many good photographs. Alas, as I arrived there the morning fog was so thick that I couldn’t see the water from two meters away. I spent three hours photographing trees in the fog, walking around (what I assumed was) the lake. As I was about to leave, the mist started to clear and I saw the lake for the first time. I only had time for a couple of shots of the islands in the middle of the lake. Other than cropping to panorama format, the processing on this photo is minimal.
